Website of the Day: It Made My Day

Sometimes, you just need a little digital pick-me-up, and today I'm here to bring you exactly that. Today's installment of Website of the Day is not only endlessly entertaining but may even give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. It Made My Day is a site where people can submit great moments they come across during their otherwise boring days.

Website of the Day: MSN Twilight

Only one more day until the highly anticipated New Moon premiere and I know you were just hoping I'd squeeze in one more Twilight tech treat before the big day. And here it is! MSN has launched its very own Twilight website that takes you right to Forks, Washington where all the Twilight excitement takes place.

Website of the Day: More Cloth

I'm a total DIY freak, and appreciate websites that help me reach my crafting goals. Take my last DIY project: the charging station I made from an Ikea shelving unit. Now if I wanted to take that a step further, I could add some decorative fabric to the back panels and really make the shelf pop.

CellAcademy.com - Wireless Online Learning

CellAcademy is based on a community who teaches other how to use their cell phone from being basic mobile phones to smartphones. I've found this site to be very helpful with different tips and tricks and it even has a forum where you can ask questions about any phone. The reason this site is different from all the rest of the cell phone sites is that is focuses on wireless knowledge and guidance for everyone and not just a rumor/ news sites for cell phones.

Website of the Day: Goby.com

Another great travel planning site whether you're looking for activities close to home or for your next trip is Goby.com. An activity search engine, Goby.com can search more than 300 categories of “things to do” from museums and holiday events to hiking trails and hotels.  Just enter “what, where and when” and be inspired by the myriad of things you can do – whether home or away this holiday season.

Website of the Day: Duffel

There are a ton of travel planning sites, but I just found my new favorite. Duffel (find the site at duffelup) calls itself "a trip-planning tool for people who are not planning any trips," but it's pretty handy for actual trip planning, too. Sign into the site to create trips — real or imagined — to any place in the world.

Website of the Day: Apostrophe Me

Sometimes I just like things explained simply, in good old-fashioned plain English. For instance, it was so liberating when the guys from Commoncraft talked about Twitter in layman's terms, and now with a website called Apostrophe Me, you'll never misuse apostrophes again, thanks to their cute and detailed flow chart. Other things worth checking out on the site?
