Be a Geek and Save Trees
I'm a college student, so I always need to write down things that I need to do or memorize. Phone applications are nice and dandy, but sometimes I just need to see it visually. I found this site that sells these white-board like pieces of paper. They're cleverly called "Scrachsheet - The Resusable Scratch Paper." I think they're amazing because they don't have the bulk like white boards do and I can use and abuse them as much as I want because they're only $2. Plus, I don't have to feel guilty about wasting paper! They have a really cute video (look for the doggie)! http://www.gogreentube.com/watch.php?v=NTM5OTUz&ref=rss
And apparently, they're really popular with the science folk!

Post a CommentAs Jenn Savedge mentioned: http://www.mnn.com/family/education-activities/blogs/reusable-scratch-pa... this is a great way to doodle and save paper. I'm also a college student who use to steal paper from the printing store just to have enough paper to practice my math. i found this reusable scratch paper and it literally allowed to me to reduce my paper usage. Very thin and def cooler than white boards. To me saving paper is more sexy than geeky. So I think this should have been called "Be Sexy and Save Paper" either way its awesome : )
Got mine a couple weeks ago but only just used them last night. Great way to work through problems without all the paperwaste. The only issue I have is that when they shipped them my mail lady bent the package to get them into my mailbox and now they have this weird permanent crease down the middle. I Wish I could just go to Staples and pick up a few more sheets, I wont get anymore until they are available in stores.
oh that's too bad. i know if they were in staples or something that would be great. maybe you could try emailing them and explain what happened. i ordered a stencil from them one time and it was broken when i got it but they were really nice and sent me another one. i don't guarantee that they'll send you another one, but it doesn't hurt to try!
