I love transforming an otherwise boring photo into something hilarious by adding a caption balloon sticker. Now with comeeko.com I have the option of adding the caption directly to my digital pic and turning it into a comic strip! The same guys behind PikiPimp have created comeeko, an easy to use site where you can take a series of pics, add text to them and create a photo strip. You can also post your comeeko in your TeamSugar profile or in TeamSugar comments.

Website of the Day: idonowidont.com

I do...but now I don't. Just to add that touch of comic relief to your Valentine's Day, swing by idonowidont.com, a website dedicated to those divorcees who want to sell off their engagement ring. This free of charge site was created by Joshua Opperman when he realized he could only get a third of his ring’s value at resale. Maybe one woman's trash really is another's treasure?

Website of the Day: My Super Proposal

Posted By Tech on Feb 8, 2007 at 8:00AM

In this installment of Geeky Guys Do Crazy Things When They're In Love, Rand Fishkin had been wanting to propose to his girlfriend for a while and suddenly realized "this was the girl for me for now and forever." Being a huge NFL fan he figured the best way to do it would be to propose to her on the big game - in front of 130 million viewers. (In case you're wondering, that just happens to be the largest audience of witnesses to an engagement in history.)

Rand raised more than $75,000 from his website Super Proposal, but the Super Bowl ads for 2007 sold out and after a media blitz (it's beyond me how his girlfriend didn't find out) and offers from advertisers to make the proposal happen, he opted to air a homemade proposal video during Veronica Mars, which is his gal's favorite show. To see the video of her reacting, which may quite possibly change your life, read more

Website Of The Day: GreenDimes.com

Posted By Tech on Jan 31, 2007 at 4:07PM

I love getting snail mail. I can get 100 e-mails in a day and return home to find a new magazine, UPS box or even a card from my grandma and my spirits are instantly lifted. What I don't love, is junk mail and saying I get a lot of it is an understatement. I get loads of it. Recycling bins full of it. GreenDimes.com offers tips to help you keep your mailbox clean and save a lot of resources and trees in the process. In fact, Americans cut down 100,000,000 trees and waste 28,000,000,000 gallons of water every year for junk mail. GreenDimes is trying to put a dent in that number - one piece of mail at a time.

GreenDimes automates the "get me off the list stat" process, so instead of millions of people sending millions of letters (which creates more waste), they save everyone time and money. Apparently, the site has the most up-to-date contact information for the junk mailers and will constantly communicate with the companies, on your behalf, to make sure you stay off the lists. What's even better? They plant a tree for each member every month! You can join for anything from $3 to $360. Money well spent.

Website of the Day: AwfulCommercials.Com

Posted By Tech on Jan 30, 2007 at 3:06PM

You all know how much I adore cruising hilarious, entertaining and geeky websites, so finding out about sites that you readers enjoy brightens my day. Teamsugar user Nannychica recently turned me on to AwfulCommercials.com, which though simple, offers some of the most heinous, hilarious and fantastic commercials of our time with cleaver commentary and a breakdown. There's nothing chic about the content of the site, but it's worth seeing, and e-mailing to all your friends. Not to be missed is the site's Top 6 Worst Commercials of 2006 list and its charming review of the creepy Geico caveman therapist commercial. If only I knew about this site when I was taking advertising in college, we would have eaten it up. To watch the funny caveman video, just read more
